김태리 "충무로 신데렐라? 어떻게든 계속 나아갈 것" [화보]

김태리는 하이컷 화보를 통해 패셔너블한 면모를 드러냈다. 화보는 '서울 아가씨'라는 주제로 고전미와 모던함이 공존하는 서울을 닮은 김태리의 오묘한 매력이 담겼다.

김태리는 플라워 패턴, 하이웨이스트 팬츠, 조거 팬츠 등 트렌디한 패션 아이템을 대담하게 소화했다. 
 
화보 촬영 후 진행된 인터뷰에서 김태리는 오는 11월 첫 방송 예정인 tvN 새 드라마 '안투라지' 특별 출연과 관련해 "카메오라서 (TV드라마) 분위기를 잘 알 순 없었지만 갑자기 턱하고 현장에 떨어진 느낌이 들어 불안했다"며 "대사도 없이 지나가기만 하면 되는 건데도 떨렸다"고 소감을 전했다. 

이어 김태리는 "그런데 박찬욱 감독님이 연기 정말 잘하시더라"며 웃었다.

김태리는 지난 8월 12일 제16회 디렉터스 컷 시상식에서 여자신인상을 수상했다. 이에 대해 김태리는 "최동훈 감독님이 인사말에서 그동안 수상했던 영화들과 (수상자를) 뽑는 과정을 설명하시는데 (인사말에 있는) 내 이름만 들어도 좋았다"며 "그곳에서 만난 감독님들이 축하해주셔서 정말 감격스러웠다"고 소감을 밝혔다.

'아가씨'에서 숙희를 연기한 김태리는 20대 여배우 기근과 맞물려 '충무로의 신데렐라'로 떠올랐다. 높아진 대중의 기대치와 그에 따른 부담감에 대해 김태리는 "분명히 (대중의) 기대치를 충족하지 못할 때가 있을 거라 생각한다"면서도 "만약 결과물이 예상치에서 벗어나더라도 그건 내 나이대의 한계일 수 있는 거다. 다른 작품, 일거리를 만나다 보면 어떻게든 계속 앞으로 나아갈 것"이라고 답했다.

“Gangnam Blues” Opens in Singapore on Jan 29, Preview Tickets Giveaway

The latest movie “Gangnam Blues” which is set to premiere in Korea on Jan 21, will be coming to a theater near you from Jan 29! Check out the synopsis below.

Set in 1970, ragmen Jong Dae (Lee Min Ho) and Yong Gi (Kim Rae Won) are two orphans who became blood brothers. No matter what they do, they cannot escape from poverty and reside in a shantytown. But when their shack is bulldozed as part of regional redevelopment, the two young men become homeless. When a local gang is short on manpower, they’re recruited to sabotage a political rally. But in the midst of chaos, they get separated.

Three years later, unlike the wishes of his former gang boss, Jong Dae refuses to let go of his gangster way, and teams up with a local madame who has powerful political connections. These two unlikeliest partners begin buying up paddy fields in Gangnam before it becomes the new hub of Korea. When a rival gang gets the wind of this plan, Jong Dae meets his foe – it’s none other than Yong Gi.

In “Gangnam Blues”, not only will Lee Min Ho witness his transformation from roles of rich young heirs to a serious man who cannot escape poverty, fans will also discover the masculine side of their heartthrob through the brutal action scenes. Kim Rae Won shed 15kg to assume the role of Yong Gi, fully embodying the character. It has been eight years since Kim Rae Won’s last gangster action film. “Gangnam Blues” also stars Jung Jin Young, Kim Ji Soo and AOA‘s Seolhyun.

Female Soldiers on “Real Men” Expected to Go Through Ruthless Training

The preview for the second female soldier special of “Real Men” shows the cast sweating and crying during their training.

The show features Kim Ji Young, Park Ha Sun, Kang Ye Won, Ahn Young Mi, Lee Ji Ae, Lee Da Hee, A Pink’s Yoon Bomi, and f(x)’s Amber.

Before her enlistment, Kang Ye Won asked her friends for advice.

“She [Kang Ye Won] has poor eyesight and facial flushing, and we’re concerned about her health. She could possibly go AWOL (absence without official leave),” said her friends.

“That’s what I’m concerned about as well,” sighed Kang Ye Won as she agreed with her friends. On the other hand, Amber seemed more motivated to enlist.

“I wanted to see what the military was like,” she said when asked about her reason to enlist. The brief shot of the preview showed Amber having trouble understanding the drill sergeant, which gives a glimpse of what audiences can expect from the episodes to come. Even more motivated to join the training was Lee Ji Ae.

“I had applied to be a female officer in the military before,” said Lee Ji Ae. “This will be a chance to fulfill my dream.”

Regardless of what each member said about the training to come, the preview showed the female soldiers training hard in a tough environment.

The special episodes will begin airing on January 25 on MBC.

“Blood” Holds First Script Reading with Goo Hye Sun, Ahn Jae Hyun, Ji Jin Hee, and More in Attendance

Upcoming KBS Monday-Tuesday evening drama “Blood” held its very first script reading with the main cast recently.

Actors present at the script reading included Ahn Jae Hyun, Goo Hye Sun, Ji Jin Hee, Jung Hye Sung, Park Jun Myeon, and Jin Kyung, among others. The staff present at the reading applauded the actors’ understanding of the script, despite the difficult medical terminology.

The production company IOK Media told the media, “We could really feel the actors’ passion. The actors’ talents are perfectly suited for their roles. Please look forward to this fantasy medical drama.”

The drama, scheduled for a February premiere, is the latest project from the production team that created “Good Doctor.” It will tell the story of a vampire doctor, played by Ahn Jae Hyun, who struggles between his instinctual desires and his will to save the lives of his patients.

FNC Entertainment, CNBLUE’s talent agency, has released photographs of member Jung Yong Hwa kissing and hugging an actress who features in the music video of “One Fine Day.”

Jung Yong Hwa has previously released a teaser for the song’s music video, which will be released on January 20. In the teaser video, the CNBLUE star was shown looking longingly at a young woman from across a crowded dancefloor. The new photographs seem to suggest that the music video’s story will have a happy and romantic ending for the on-screen couple.

MBC’s “Happy Time” Revisits Eugene’s Explanation of S.E.S’ Break-up

The January 18 broadcast of MBC‘s “Happy Time” examined the details of why first-generation girl group S.E.S broke up at the peak of its popularity in December 2002.

On the show, “Happy Time” screened a part of an interview given by former S.E.S member Eugene for MBC’s “Golden Fishery” in April 2013.

Eugene explained, “At the time, I wanted to continue with our contracts as they were, but the agency [SM Entertainment] wanted us to make new contracts on an individual basis. Even though we had a lot of negotiations on the matter, we could not come to a mutual agreement, so we eventually decided to go our own separate ways.”

Eugen also noted, “When we broke up, we did so at the height of our popularity. We wanted to break up in a calm and cool way.”

After the group broke up, Eugene began a successful career as an actress. S.E.S fans recently enjoyed watching a performance by former members Shoo and Bada on the “Infinity Challenge” special “Saturday Saturday Is a Singer.”
