Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung will appear on the Japanese music program “Music Japan.”
According to YG Entertainment’s statement on June 28, both Taeyang and Daesung will perform their solo songs on “Music Japan,” which is being held at the NHK Hall in Shibuya on July 21.
While Big Bang has appeared on the program before, this is the first time that members of the group are going to the show together to hold their own solo stages.
Daesung had success last year in Japan, as he held a concert tour upon releasing his Japanese solo debut album, and his recently released album “D’slove” is garnering attention for placing first on iTunes‘ Japanese chart.
On June 11 and June 12, Daesung started his “D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan ~D’slove~” arena tour in Yokohama Arena. The reaction was hot, so Daesung will hold 15 concerts in 8 cities.
Taeyang has his Japanese solo debut upcoming on August 14, and he is receiving a lot of love in Japan. Taeyang’s second album “RISE” placed first on the daily charts on Rekochoku and first place on iTunes Japan pop charts. Taeyang is preparing for his Japanese debut in August and his solo concert tour.
