Jung Joon Young to Host “SNL Korea”

Singer Jung Joon Young got his wish as he will host “SNL Korea.”

Jung Joon Young will host the episode of tvN’s “SNL Korea” that airs on June 28 and will spend Saturday night with “SNL Korea’s” unique four-dimensional gags.

The teaser for the upcoming episode was played after a Kang Dong Won CF and the excitement for the episode is increasing. After appearing on Mnet’s “Superstar 4″ in 2012, Jung Joon Young has heard that he resembles Kang Dong Won, and viewers are itching to see how he works through that in a short story. Seeing as Jung Joon Young has been in various variety programs such as “We Got Married” and “1 Night 2 Days,” he plans to show many funny parodies.

Jung Joon Young stated in an interview last year that he personally wanted to appear on “SNL Korea.” He showed off his confidence by stating “The show is very interesting from a viewer’s point of view. The show is definitely at the top, and that’s why I want to appear on the show. I am interesting in receiving any offers for acting.”

This appearance on the show will be linked to Jung Joon Young’s new album. He debuted last October, and made a comeback after eight months through his primary occupation of a singer. The plan is to increase his popularity through “SNL Korea” after his album is released on June 26.

Jung Joon Young will hold his first stage on Mnet’s “M Countdown” and appear on “SNL Korea” on June 28.
