Tablo talks about his version of Taeyang's ‘Eyes, Nose, Lips’

After making a beautiful cover, Epik High′s Tablo revealed why he created his own version of Big Bang Taeyang′s Eyes, Nose, Lips.

On June 25, Tablo released his cover music video for Eyes, Nose, Lips through YG Entertainment′s official blog.

Following Akdong Musician′s version, Tablo′s Eyes, Nose, Lips is the second cover, which was rearranged and mixed by DJ Tukutz with English lyrics written by Tablo himself. Towards the end of the song, Taeyang made a surprise appearance, making it a beautiful collaboration.

After revealing the music video, Tablo stated through YG entertainment, "The original song was so brilliant that I thought it was meaningless to create a typical cover. I wanted to gift Taeyang with a new song that he would like, that would make the original shine."

On transforming a slow R&B song into a rap version, Tablo said, "I′ve produced songs that were vocal focused and rap-focused, so I didn′t have a hard time. Plus, I′ve worked with Taeyang on Tomorrow, Throwaway, and Love You to Death so it was a lot of fun this time too.

The concept for the collaboration with Taeyang and Tablo is, "Let′s give enjoyment to those listening."

Meanwhile, Eyes, Nose, Lips has been ranked high on music charts since its release in early June.
