2NE1′s CL Is A Barbie Doll For Italian Issue of “Vanity Fair”

Girl group 2NE1‘s leader CL received the limelight on the Italian issue of Vanity Fair. With the concept of Barbie, one of the lines from the article said, “I’m CL and I’m Korea’s Barbie doll.”

Through the article the singer said, “I’m a Korean who is able to show the world my competent Korean music skills.”

This pictorial was shot when CL went over to Milano to attend Moschino’s “Think Pink” capsule collection. The clothing she wore was designed by CL’s long-time designer friend Jeremy Scott.

During her interview with Vanity Fair, she said, “I was a Korean girl who wore ripped blue jeans and sang Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. But now, I’m attending Milano’s fashion week. I feel like I’m starting a new life.”
She continued, “For me, fashion is music’s supplement point, like they are two different languages who express the same emotions.”

The magazine described her as, “Maybe she was thinking on how to conquer the world as she was singing Bohemian Rhapsody in those ripped jeans.”

Along with her 2NE1 members, CL will be performing the group’s world tour “ALL OR NOTHING” in Macau on October 17 and will be participating in the YG Family Concert on October 19 and 25 in China’s Beijing and Taiwan, respectively.
