Akdong Musician named "Hottest Young Talent" by Billboard

Akdong Musician, who won the SBS's audition program "K-pop Star" in 2013, and made their official debut this year under YG entertainment, has just made into the list of U.S. Billboard's "21 Under 21: Music's Hottest Young Stars",

The list is formed annually to rank the world's most powerful musicians under the age of 21. Together with Lee Hi last year, who was also a talent discovered through 'Kpop Star', they were the only Asian representatives in the list for two consecutive years.

Akdong Musician is a teen duo, consisting of singer-songwriter Lee Chan-hyuk and his younger sister Soohyun. Billboard praised them for their talents in writing and composing music as well as their popularity in Korea with a successful debut.

Some of the big names that made it on this year's list include Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor and Cody Simpson.
