The makers of forthcoming KBS drama “Tomorrow Cantabile” have released a promotional image featuring actress Shim Eun Kyung. The star will play the role of Seol Nae Il (Seol ‘Tomorrow’) in the series, which is set to start airing on October 13. The makers of the series had also previously released still images of actor Joo Won, who is set to play the lead male role.
The drama is a Korean adaptation of a popular Japanese manga novel series named “Nodame Cantabile,” which also spawned a television series.
Seol Nae Il is described as being a genial pianist with a complex personality. She has the reputation of being something of a troublemaker. Shim Eun Kyung explained, “Seol Nae Il is very impulsive. I think it is important to be very relaxed when playing this role and not to overdo it.”
The actress recently won acclaim when she played the lead female role in the hit movie “Miss Granny,” released earlier this year.
