'Gangnam 1970' which was initially promoted to be released in December this year, was moved earlier to November 2014. However, it was confirmed that the release date of the movie was changed to January 2015.
On the Instagram of a Philippine fan base of Lee Minho, they posted the photo above and wrote this, "#Repost from @teamleeminho: [NEWS 10/24/14] #Gangnam1970 starring Lee Min Ho Postpones Release Date Gangnam 1970 has confirmed the delay in its premiere. The film Gangnam 1970, which was slated for November premiere has been confirmed to premiere in January of 2015. Accordingly, the film’s press briefing session, which was scheduled for October 28, has also been postponed. Starring Lee Min Ho and Kim Rae Won, Gangnam 1970 is the final piece of director Yoo Ha’s ‘street’ movie trilogy about two men’s desire, loyalty and betrayal surrounding Gangnam area when in 1970’s when Seoul began going through rapid development."
'Gangnam 1970' (previously entitled 'Gangnam Blues'), which used a worldwide hit OPM song 'Anak' on its trailer, is a noir action film written and directed by Yoo Ha. Lee Minho will be top-billing it with Kim Raewon. The story happened in 1970 featuring the backdrop of the real estate development of Seoul's Gangnam district. Lee Minho and Kim Raewon are childhood friends, but their friendship will be tested as the story gets deeper.
It will be released in January 2015.
