Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2014 – September Week 4

With the top four songs reshuffling places, WINNER’s “Empty” climbs back up to the top spot on our chart this week. Also moving up one spot each again is SISTAR’s “I Swear” and Park Bo Ram’s “Beautiful.” Last week’s No. 1 song, Super Junior’s “MAMACITA,” is down three spots to No. 4. Overall, it is the third week that “Empty” spent on top of our chart. Congratulations to WINNER.

There are three new songs in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 6, it is 2PM’s latest hit “Going Crazy?” It is the title track from their fourth full length album of the same name. 2PM member Jun. K took part in writing, composing and producing this song. “Go Crazy?” is an exciting dance song with disco and house sound. This song will be a contender for the top spot next week.

Moving up 14 spots to No. 7 is T-Ara’s “Sugar Free.” It is the title song from their new mini-album “And & End.” This Shinsadong Tiger written song combines a house and shuffle rhythm. The lyrics compares sugar free drinks to the feeling one gets when something is missing.

Another hot debut into the top 10 is by Teen Top. Their latest hit “Missing” enters our chart at No. 9 this week. It is the title track from their mini-album “Teen Top Exito.” Unlike Teen Top’s previous hits, “Missing” is a slower tempo dance song with R&B rhythm that showcases members’ vocals. The lyrics are about a man who doesn’t want to accept that his girlfriend has left him for good. This song will also be a contender for the top spot next week.
