The K-pop industry is not what I would call “friendly” to the photosensitive viewers out there. MVs throw around strobe lights like they’ve got an indefinite supply – and maybe they do, how should I know! Maybe they’ve got warehouses full of nothing but strobe lights (quite likely).

I admit the effect is startling and somewhat alluring the first time around, but it is used so constantly and so indiscriminately that by the twenty-fifth MV filled with strobe lights I’m just bored and — at the risk of sounding old — on the verge of a major headache.
