Group EXO’s leader Suho chose Super Junior’s Kyuhyun as his role model.
On the January 20 broadcast of EBS’s “School Land – Teen Teen Interview,” EXO’s leader Suho will talk about the efforts that he made as a trainee to become a singer.
Suho said during the filming, “Until I started middle school, I wasn’t too interested in being a singer, but when I was asked to do an audition for a management company, I started thinking about my path.” He revealed that he auditioned for his current management company, SM Entertainment, so that he would have no regrets, and he passed the audition on his first try. “I think I was lucky,” he reminisced.
Suho then said to the viewers, “If you have a dream and a goal, I want to tell you to think about it concretely and then go for it.”
When asked choose a singer that he most wanted to be like when he debuted, Suho chose Super Junior’s Kyuhyun. “He has always believed in himself and continued to work hard. I’m still learning from him, especially about the way he sets a definite goal for himself and runs towards his dream.”
Suho will also talk about the despair he felt when he suffered a leg injury as a trainee, and the happiest day of his life, which was debuting after six years of training.
EXO’s Suho’s talk about his trainee period without holidays or vacations will be broadcast on January 20 on EBS’s “School Land – Teen Teen Interview.”
