Lyn Gets Royalty Treatment in China for “My Love from the Stars” Soundtrack

On a recent episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” singer Lyn appeared as a guest and sang the popular soundtrack for “My Love from the Stars,” “My Destiny.” She revealed that the soundtrack is gaining as much popularity as the drama itself. She became the first Korean female ballad singer to debut in China. She also revealed that she received royalty treatment while she was there.

In other news, Lyn also sang her newest track, “Thank You My Dear,” which has been known to be a song for her husband-to-be Lee Soo. The track was made by Lyn two years ago, expressing her feelings towards her boyfriend. Two years later Lee Soo finally heard it, and it’s been reported that he showed tears while he listened to it.

With regards to her post-marriage career, Lyn stated, “I’m worried that the public will feel disconnected with a married ballad singer singing about breakups. I want to walk the path of a singer that can still sing sad ballads after my marriage, not as Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, but as Korea’s Lee Mi Ja or Korea’s Shim Soo Bong.”
