Stills of Kim So Hyun’s Kidnap Scene on “Reset” Revealed

In the upcoming episode of OCN’s “Reset,” prosecutor Cha Woo Jin (Chun Jung Myung) will once again have to face the unknown X in a battle of cleverness. In the last episode, X attempted to murder Yoon Hee (Song Ha Yoon), who has a crush on Cha Woo Jin and also happens to be the younger sister of his first love. In the next episode, X changes his target to Eun Bi (Kim So Hyun), who looks exactly like his first love, Seung Hee. Because of the similarity, Cha Woo Jin seems to be unconsciously attracted to Eun Bi (not in that loving, romantic way, but in a more caring, attentive way). Woo Jin will have to face X in order to save Eun Bi.

In order to film this kidnap scene, it was reported that Kim So Hyun had to cry for four hours in the entire duration of the shoot. Kim So Hyun had multiple scenes with this X—a scene where she bursts into tears out of fear of her kidnapper, running away as she tries to escape in bare feet, and even getting into a physical altercation with her kidnapper. It’s her first lead in a thriller drama, and many are anticipating how she will tackle this new role.

The production team of “Reset” revealed, “Kim So Hyun has an abundant range of emotions for her age. Her acting in the upcoming tear scenes as well as the action scenes may as well have been that of a senior actress. She does her best in everything that is given to her, which is not a quality that seems to be present in many young actresses today. That passion is definitely evident in the next episode.”

Meanwhile, “Reset” is a thriller about Cha Woo Jin, a prosecutor that is strict on crime, and his battle with an unknown X as truths get uncovered through his memory. It stars Chun Jung Myung, Kim So Hyun, Park Won Sang, and Shin Eun Jung, among others. The next episode will air this coming September 21 on OCN.
