Recently, a rep of YG entertainment has stated that 2NE1 would not take part in any music festivals and events at the end of the year, even though their second studio album released in February was very successful.
They said, “It is an honor for a musician to be invited to a music festival, but we politely declined all the offers because we think it is time to focus on CL’s debut in the United States”.
2NE1 has experienced some big problems this year with Park Bom's drug scandal, Minzy's Instagram rumor. It seems like they need time to balance their spiritual lives.
However, CL will still collaborate with Diplo for a special performance at the Style Icon Awards (SIA) by CJ E&M.
