KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Big Man” came in at number 2 in terms of viewer ratings for its first episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, the April 28 broadcast of “Big Man” reached 6.0% viewer ratings. In the same time slot, MBC’s “Empress Ki” continued to dominate with a rating of 26.2%. In third was SBS’ “God’s Gift – 14 Days,” which recorded 3.7%.
The very first episode pulled viewers in with not one, but two separate kiss scenes between Kang Ji Hwan (playing the role of Kim Ji Hyuk) and Jung So Min (Kang Jin Ah), as well as Choi Daniel (Kang Dong Suk) and Lee Da Hee (So Mi Ra). The interesting plot, filled with corruption and conspiracy, contributed to the viewers’ enjoyment.
“Big Man” is about a man who grew up as an orphan but starts a new life when he comes to the realization that he is actually the eldest son of a chaebol family. In this crazy process, he must face society and learn to protect himself and those he cares for.
Tune into “Big Man” every Monday and Tuesday at 9:55 PM (KST) on KBS 2TV.
