Though their decision to have done so was a private one, YG Entertainment belatedly revealed that Akdong Musician had donated their entire cash prize of 300 million won after winning the audition program "K-Pop Star 2".
YG stated that the agency is unsure of exactly which organizations the sibling duo decided to donate to in specific, but the young singers had consulted with their parents before finding the right places of need to reach out to.
