Girl group Fiestar teamed up with The Friends for the music video shooting for “I Love Korea,” one of the few official songs dedicated to the World Cup that will take place in Brazil next month.
Soompi attended the press conference right before the music video filming on May 14 where both teams answered questions from the press. Stay tuned for the interview!
The Friends is a project group, which consists of ballad singers 015B’s Lee Jang Woo and Jo Sung Min, along with TOY’s guest member Kim Hyung Joong. Lee Jang Woo and Kim Hyung Joong penned the lyrics while the latter composed the song.
“I Love Korea” has an addictive melody and is dedicated to cheer on the South Korean national soccer team for the World Cup, as well as cheer on those who are going through rough times.
Regarding Fiestar and The Friends’ activities, a Collabodadi representative stated, “Starting with ‘I Love Korea,’ they will attend various broadcast activities during the World Cup season and will also hold street performances to cheer on the Taeguk Warriors.”
Meanwhile, Fiestar recently made its comeback with “One More” after the album was pushed back last month.
