MBC Every1′s “Weekly Idol” will have its second YG Entertainment artist guest in the super rookie group WINNER.
The five-member boy group WINNER will be making their first ever variety show appearance through MBC Every1′s “Weekly Idol” and it was reported that the group has recently finished the filming of their episode.
As the first boy group to debut under YG Entertainment after eight years since BIGBANG’s debut, WINNER has been receiving a lot of attention as they sweep the charts and music broadcasts with their tracks “Empty” and “Color Ring.” However, the group has yet to make their variety skills shine and for that, they have chosen to make their first variety show appearance on “Weekly Idol.”
During the filming, WINNER is said to have shown variety skills that is not expected from a rookie group. They have also shown their witty side that have captured the hearts of the show’s MCs Defconn and Jung Hyung Don.
WINNER’s first appearance on “Weekly Idol” is slated to air after October.
Last year, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon became the first YG Entertainment artist to appear on “Weekly Idol.”
