DSP denies recruiting members for KARA's comeback

News articles came up on various Korean media outlets on January 29 that KARA's agency is in recruitment stage for two members for KARA's comeback, after Nicole and Jiyoung's withdrawal.

Prior to this, DSP quickly addressed that they are not recruiting two new members at the moment and still in deliberation process regarding KARA's future. They stated, "Nothing is confirmed yet. We have lots of considerations for KARA and we're not going to take risk so we are putting a lot of thoughts about it."

They continued, "It's still debatable whether to recruit members or to continue as 3. Meanwhile, Gyuri, Seungyeon and Hara are going to focus on their individual activities for the first half of the year." "KARA has plan to comeback on the second half of the year though but there's no specific decision that is made yet. We are not recruiting new members."

Whatever decision they made in the future, we hope that it's for KARA's good. Fighting!

UPDATE:

However, one succeeding news article (after DSP's denial) reported that KARA will be reformed as 5 members with additional two recruited members from the agency's trainees. If that's the case, KARA is going to comeback as 5 members later this year.
