7 member group Speed will be holding their comeback showcase in the form of a mini concert on February 12 at the Uniqlo AX Hall in Seoul. Tickets are limited to the first 500 people who apply via their official fan cafe over a five day period from February 3 to February 7. Speed’s Twitter post stated that more specific details about the mini concert would be revealed on February 1 via their fancafe.
Speed will have a special guest, rookie artist Shannon, who recently made her debut through “Remember You.” The track features the vocals of Speed’s Jong Gook, so there is a chance that the two will perform the duet at the showcase.
The group put out a video teaser for their mini concert via Core Contents Media’s official YouTube channel. Set against a desert background, the video promises that the group’s comeback and mini concert will be explosive and impactful.
Speed debuted in January 2013 with “It’s Over” and also promoted “Pain” as the title track of their repackaged album. They will be coming back after nearly a year.
Speed will show a more mature appearance through their new album. The members have also taken an active role in creating the album, with leader Tae Woon in charge of composing, writing lyrics and producing, while the other members Jung Woo, Yoo Hwan, Tae Ha, Jong Gook, Se Joon and Sung Min all had a hand in the music, costumes and choreography for the album.
Through their agency, Core Contents Media, Speed revealed, “We will show everything that we have prepared through this one year at the showcase.”
Speed’s showcase will be broadcast on SBS MTV.
