Song Seung Hun Proves Extreme Popularity in Thailand with 80 Interview Requests

Actor Song Seung Hun, who is currently in Thailand filming for his new movie, “Human Addiction,” couldn’t resist meeting with his Thai fans during his stay. On January 27, the actor’s agency released photos of Song Seung Hun that proved the actor’s immense popularity in Thailand.

Song Seung Hun’s popularity stems from the Hallyu wave, as the actor’s famous 2000 drama, “Autumn in My Heart” was remade in Thailand. Furthermore, the actor experienced 80 interview requests from the local media, validating Song Seung Hun’s fame. On January 25, the actor held his fanmeeting at the SCALA Theatre, also allowing 120 media figures to report the energetic meeting.


The actor’s beloved status in Thailand once again shows the power of Hallyu and the popularity of Korean entertainment overseas. Song Seung Hun’s movie, “Human Addiction,” is set to premiere in the first half of 2014.
